All jewelry purchased from Goldspeed.com is warranted for 1 full year against any manufacturer's defects. If a jewelry item fails within that period of time, Goldspeed.com, at its discretion, will either repair or replace the item. Normal wear and tear, abuse, and the loss of precious, semi-precious stones or pearls from settings are not covered. A shipping and handling charge of $15 or 10% of the item’s cost (whichever is greater) will be charged to the customer. Due to variations of stones, gold weight, and polishing, the dimensions, carat sizes and weights may very slightly + or - 10%.

Order by 2PM EST on any weekday and in most cases your order will be shipped the same day. Special order items, custom engagement rings, personalized items, and some watches are shipped within one to three business days. Custom order items will have the expected shipping time listed in the description of that item. Though rarely a concern, when an item is out of stock you will be notified by e-mail of the expected delivery date. All orders are shipped fully insured and are packaged and checked in the presence of two employees. If there are any shortages, or if you feel that your package was tampered with, please call customer service at 1-800-GOLD-340 or 516-887-8888. It is important that you save all original packaging materials in order for us to speedily process your claim. All merchandise is fully insured at no additional cost to the customer. Shipments are F.O.B. our Distribution Center, USA. Taxes, duty and import fees are solely the responsibility of the customer.

Payment Methods
We accept all major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover), wire transfers, checks and money orders. Please allow up to 10 banking days for check or Money Order to clear. Sorry, we do not accept credit cards as payment for Jacob & Co. watches.
We only charge your credit card when your order ships. However, if your order is a “special order“ or is for a “custom made” item or if the item ordered requires more than 24 hours to ship, your credit card may be charged prior to shipping.
Safety
All online transactions at Goldspeed.com are handled with industry-standard SSL encryption.
When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, then decoded when it gets to us. For added security, we also encrypt the credit card number when it is stored on disk while your order is being processed.
If you are not the kind of person who worries about being hit by lightning as you're crossing the street, you probably don't have to worry that your credit card number will be intercepted on the way to a secure Web site. According to CNN,

The management and employees of Goldspeed.com order products online all the time, both as a company and as individuals. When we use a credit card to buy something online, we feel at least as safe as we would using one in a store or restaurant.
Security
All shipping addresses are fully verified. Additionally, our security department may contact you prior to shipping to verify all or part of your shipping address. The billing address we receive from you must match your credit card statement billing address exactly or your order will not be processed.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express & Discover). We only charge your order to your credit card when we ship your order, with the following exceptions:
1. Special order, custom made items, which are non-cancelable or non-returnable.
2. Made to order items, which have extended delivery dates beyond the number of days that the credit card authorization will remain valid. These items are clearly labeled in the item description (e.g. “This is a final sale item” or “please allow 2 to 4 weeks for your ring to be completed”). These items will be charged prior to shipping, all others will be charged only when we ship your order).
Privacy
All of the personal data we receive is private and is kept confidential. Goldspeed.com does not sell or rent its customer list or any personal information to any other person, company or organization.
