The Pacific Wedding Guide Collection: New Additions

Were you guys loving that Kauai post? Yeah, I know, I didn't blog yesterday, but I really wanted you to get your fill of Kauai. That and... it's been so hot over here in good 'ole Hawaii! Don't get me wrong, I love Hawaii and I shouldn't complain because doesn't Texas get to be like over 100 degrees? Yeah, I should stop complaining. And I should cut the heat rant short because I've got new vendors to introduce to you! So without further ado...

C'mon, that bar is amazing, right? I received a lovely email a couple of days ago from wedding planner Aleah Valley of The Good Life Special Events. So I had to check them out, and the first photo of this amazing custom bar designed for a Washington State wedding stole my heart! So here's the deal: Aleah and husband Nick are based in Southern California, but they love Hawaii and also get their hands on many a Maui wedding. Have no fear- Shayna Quito is their Maui Senior Associate, based on the Valley Isle and ready to take your Maui wedding to new and amazing heights. But just for the record, this bar? I'd die for this bar.

There's nothing I love more than discovering an 'under the radar' vendor, especially photographers! I discovered Joanna Tano while surfing the net this past week and instantly fell in love with her style. I love love love the way her photos, like, steal these intimate moments. And the lighting? Amazing. A local girl from Maui, Joanna's got a great eye and I'm so glad I found her!

This week we're also saying hello to Dianna Shitanishi of Hawaii Weddings and Events. You know you're in good hands with Dianna: 1) She's a former director of catering and conference services at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental (now the Kahala Resort) and 2) is the only person in Hawaii to hold both the distinctions of CPCE (Certified Professional Catering Executive) and CMP (Certified Meeting Planner). Bam. Check out this recent article about Dianna in Pacific Edge Magazine's wedding issue...

Well, friends, guess what? Sunday's my Birthday! You want to hear the line-up I've got planned for this weekend? Saturday: John Legend concert. Sunday: Kayaking and Lanikai house party. Monday: Girls Night at Du Vin! So excited!

Have a fab weekend!
